About the Event

Workshop Objectives

· Becoming aware of inner battles and understanding the positive intent of bad behavior

· Recognize a child’s external challenges that may be triggering internal protective stances

· Adult protective ‘parts’ trigger children’s protective ‘parts’

· Understanding our personalities through mapping our interactions

· Noticing and accessing the Core Self as the key to growth and regulation

· Helping children access compassion for themselves (their parts) and others

· Recognizing when a protective part has taken over ourselves or others

· How to take the lead from controlling behaviors and emotions

· Classroom teaching topics promoting awareness and self-compassion

· Classroom management techniques

Schedule and Program Information

· July 29 and 30, 2020; 9 AM to 4 PM 

· 12 Program Hours (12 CEUs)

· Program Cost $149.

Brandt Ratcliff, LPC

Brandt is an LPC practicing in Oklahoma City. He earned his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Mid-America Christian University and his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. He practices at the HALO Project specializing in Trauma and Self-Leadership. Along with 11 years of classroom teacher experience, Brandt has extensively studied and experienced IFS therapy in addition to his work with foster and adopted children. Brandt is an IFS Therapist, a TBRI Mentor, and an EMDR Therapist practicing therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Brandt also consults with therapist utilizing IFS and routinely speaks at events promoting mental health for children and adults in schools and organizations throughout Oklahoma.
